The season offically started last Saturday September 24th. It was also the home opener! It was a really good game and Asiago won 4 to 1! They played Pontebba.
Well its time to kick off another year of hockey. Pre season is finished now its time to get this ball rolling. Going on my 6th professional hockey season and the body hurts a heck of a lot more than season 1 ill tell you that much lol. But that being said its about time to get some games going and end all of these 2 a day practices and games vs. mostly brutal teams in the preseason.
Last year is now officially over, after winning a championship i still catch myself talking to alot of the guys who were here last year about memories of last year but thats in the past now. Obviously im sure anyone who ever won a championship at any level as a team went through the same thing, it was a great time in everyones lives and the memories will always be there but that being said its time to look into the future and get to where we need to get too this year so we can do it all over again. Its an uphill battle, will be great times and for sure shitty times along the way, but a little adversity never hurts anyone. A solid quote i once read is " Anything worth while has never come easy.."
Not much else to say other then what was above, every team is at the foothill of the mountain at the starting line and there can only be one team on top...and damn it feels good to be that team...so time to get there...yea boy
